Based on and derived directly from eTEK Accounting for Microsoft SQL Server (fka Millennium+ Accounting), PLEXUS operates as a semi-custom Microsoft SQL Server based point-of-sale application that uses on-line Windows-based cash registers to collect money for various permits, excise taxes, code books (building codes for contractors), licenses, and boiler and elevator inspections, with extensive automated accounting and information integration and tracking for numerous departments and systems throughout the city.

Provides for automated on-line credit card authorization and processing via ICVERIFY for Windows. ICVERIFY for Windows is a complete PC compatible credit authorization software program from CyberCash+ for use in on-line point-of-sale environments.
Automates the process of applying payments and tracking information to multiple agencies which are located in the centralized revenue accounting counter located in any cities permit center.
System automatically posts in real-time to the appropriate AR database & CityView.
System updates PeopleSoft via a daily electronic email transmission to the Treasurerï¿½s Department.
Month-end reports are automatically transmitted via email to recipients.
System includes a year-end archiving capability as well as an on-line inquiry into active and/or archived information as desired.
Is available fully integrated with CityView, and the City and County of Denverï¿½s automated permit issuance process.
Provides electronic communication between city agencies involved in the permit issuance process including interface with right-of-way functionality.
Permits data to be transferred, fees collected, permits printed, and pertinent data collected from numerous agencies at a central location, thus providing a better service for agency customers.
Provides complete over and under payments processing.
Is designed to allow for multiple fund/org accounts to be tracked back to various organizations for which payments have been collected.
Is currently handling easily more than 200,000 transactions per year. In operation for over 8+ years - a robust, well-tested and proven system!
Consists of approximately 20,000 lines of code (including code behind forms and in modules). There are approximately 95 tables, 101 forms, 55 reports, 63 queries and 10 modules in PLEXUS.
