Based on and derived directly from eTEK Accounting for Microsoft SQL Server (fka Millennium+ Accounting), PLEXUS operates as a semi-custom Microsoft SQL Server based point-of-sale application that uses on-line Windows-based cash registers to collect money for various permits, excise taxes, code books (building codes for contractors), licenses, and boiler and elevator inspections, with extensive automated accounting and information integration and tracking for numerous departments and systems throughout the city.

Provides for automated on-line credit card authorization and processing via ICVERIFY for Windows. ICVERIFY for Windows is a complete PC compatible credit authorization software program from CyberCash+ for use in on-line point-of-sale environments.

Automates the process of applying payments and tracking information to multiple agencies which are located in the centralized revenue accounting counter located in any cities permit center.

System automatically posts in real-time to the appropriate AR database & CityView.

System updates PeopleSoft via a daily electronic email transmission to the Treasurer�s Department.

Month-end reports are automatically transmitted via email to recipients.

System includes a year-end archiving capability as well as an on-line inquiry into active and/or archived information as desired.

Is available fully integrated with CityView, and the City and County of Denver�s automated permit issuance process.

Provides electronic communication between city agencies involved in the permit issuance process including interface with right-of-way functionality.
