Users can start as small as they like and move up to a full multi-company enterprise system with no re-training! The end-user interface stays the same throughout the product line. eTEK systems have been certified by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows XP (all also run very well on Windows Vista, including 64-bit machines). Historical Facts: Based in the Denver Tech Center, eTEK acquired all of the assets and trademarks of MTX International in January 1998. MTX was a 22-year-old software company that had developed one of the first true Windows-based (not derived from DOS) accounting systems released originally in 1992. Bill Gates featured MTX Accounting (the basis for all eTEK systems) in a specialized Windows NT-based point-of-sale retail application at COMDEX Spring �94. Later that year, MTX became the first accounting software to be certified as Microsoft Office Compatible, a feature since further improved by eTEK. In late 1997 MTX was invited by Microsoft to assist in their launch of Microsoft Small Business Server, and more recently, in 1999, eTEK was designated a Microsoft Office 2000 Launch Partner. In January 2003 eTEK was designated a Microsoft Mobile Solutions Partner coincident with the introduction of eTEK�s noteworthy wireless PDA/Phone interface called MTX Mobile. In April 2004, eTEK earned Microsoft's certification for Windows XP application systems.
